Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Holiday Shopping Boutique and New Year’s Eve Celebrations Highlight Offerings at the Century-old Restaurant and Inn

BERNARDSVILLE, N.J. October 16, 2013—Celebrate the spirit of the holiday season at The Bernards Inn, a four-star, four-diamond restaurant and hotel located in the heart of downtown Bernardsville. A bountiful Thanksgiving feast will set the Holidays in motion, followed by magnificent dining options throughout the New Year. “Celebrating the Holidays at The Bernards Inn has become an annual tradition for families who appreciate fine dining in a warm and inviting atmosphere,” said Proprietor Harold Imperatore. “We welcome many of the same couples and families year after year and we enjoy making sure their celebrations are truly special.”

 Intimate, special occasion dining is the hallmark of The Bernards Inn. In addition to award-winning fine dining, The Bernards Inn offers 20 redesigned guest rooms for luxurious overnight accommodations.
 
THANKSGIVING FEAST, NOVEMBER 28
Give thanks at The Bernards Inn with two magnificent offerings including the Grand Buffet from 12 noon to 6:30 p.m. Feast on oven-roasted, organic Griggstown turkey with cornbread stuffing and all the trimmings as well as beef, seafood and pasta selections. Enjoy savory salads, charcuterie, artisanal cheeses, an elaborate dessert display and more. The buffet is priced at $69 for adults; $35 for children ages 6 to 12; $15 for children ages 2 to 5.
Seatings for the three-course, prix-fixe dinner are from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will include seasonal chef creations, including organic Griggstown turkey and pheasant, along with the best of the Inn’s autumn menu. A vegetarian entrée will also be offered. The dinner is priced at $79 for adults; $35 for children under 12.

HOLIDAY SHOPPING BOUTIQUE AND BENEFIT, DECEMBER 4
The community is invited to The Inn’s annual Holiday Shopping Boutique and Benefit on Wednesday, December 4 from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.  The Fenwick Ballroom will be brimming with unique gifts from fine local merchants. Admission is $10 and will benefit Heartworks of Bernardsville, a grassroots organization that assists individuals and families in need of hope and support in the community.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA, DECEMBER 15
“Breakfast with Santa” will be celebrated on Sunday, December 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Fenwick Ballroom. Meet Santa and enjoy an abundant buffet breakfast including made-to-order omelets, pancakes with toppings, bacon, sausage, salads, fresh fruit and more. Prices are $35 for adults; $20 children under 12; children under 5 enjoy complimentary breakfast. The a la carte brunch menu will also be available.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet and take photographs with Santa and delight in the spectacular Gingerbread House. Special holiday treat tables for children will feature gingerbread and a selection of holiday cookies, cupcakes, candy canes and more.

CHRISTMAS EVE DINING, DECEMBER 24
The Bernards Inn is offering three festive dining options for Christmas Eve on Tuesday, December 24. Enjoy a three-course, prix-fixe dinner in the dining room from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Executive Chef Corey Hoyer will present a special holiday menu of exquisite appetizers, entrees and desserts. Dinner is $95 for adults; $45 for children under 12.
An elaborate buffet will be offered from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Indulge in a generous assortment of salads, fruits, chilled seafood, pasta, hot entrees, carving stations and a delightful dessert station including an ice cream sundae bar. The buffet is $69 for adults; $35 for children 6 to 12; $15 for children 2-5.  
A Christmas Eve la carte lunch will also be served from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Santa Claus will also be making a special visit with treats for children of all ages. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 908-766-0002.

NEW YEARS EVE DINING, DECEMBER 31
Celebrate a dazzling New Year’s Eve at The Bernards Inn with a special three-course, prix-fixe dinner on Tuesday, December 31. Chef Corey Heyer will present a spectacular holiday menu of innovative appetizers, entrees and desserts. Guests can also enjoy live piano music in the Library Bar. The dinner is $125 per guest. Reservations will be taken from 5:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. and guests are invited to ring in the New Year with party favors.
