Katie Meyer and Pete Moor were college sweethearts who knew that they would someday marry. The proposal came over the holidays in 2010, as the two set out on a walk through Manhattan’s Central Park. As they approached Bethesda Fountain, Pete insisted that Katie slow down. She could see a vitrine filled with roses and a framed love letter. There were also champagne flutes and a bottle of champagne. As Pete got down on one knee, he presented the ring that Katie had always fantasized about: a solitaire in a platinum band.

Stephen and I met at work four years ago. We both were in sales at a company in Manhattan. At first, we were shy around one another, but I immediately noticed his unique sense of humor, which appealed to me very much.
