Breakfast with Santa, Holiday Boutique, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve will be celebrated in style. In addition to award-winning fine dining, The Bernards Inn offers 20 redesigned guest rooms and holiday accommodation packages are available.

December 4
Holiday Shopping Boutique and Benefit

The community is invited to The Inn’s annual Holiday Shopping Boutique and Benefit on Dec. 4 from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. The Fenwick Ballroom will be brimming with unique gifts from fine local merchants. Admission is $10 and will benefit Heartworks of Bernardsville, a grassroots organization that assists individuals and families in need in the community.

December 9
Breakfast With Santa

“Breakfast with Santa” will be celebrated on Sunday, December 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fenwick Ballroom. Meet Santa and enjoy an abundant buffet breakfast including made-to-order omelets, pancakes with toppings, bacon, sausage, salads, fresh fruit and more. Prices are $29.95 for adults; $10 children 5 – 12; children under 5 enjoy complimentary breakfast. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and take photographs with Santa and delight in the spectacular Gingerbread House. Special holiday treat tables for children will feature gingerbread and a selection of holiday cookies, cupcakes, candy canes and more.

December 24
Christmas Eve Dining

The Bernards Inn is offering three festive dining options for Christmas Eve on Monday, December 24. Enjoy a three-course, prix-fixe dinner in the dining room from 3:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Executive Chef Corey Hoyer will present a special holiday menu of exquisite appetizers, entrees and desserts. Dinner is $95 for adults; $45 for children under 12.

An elaborate buffet will be offered from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Indulge in a generous assortment of salads, fruits, chilled seafood, pasta, hot entrees, carving stations and a delightful dessert station including an ice cream sundae bar. The buffet is $65 for adults; $29 for children 6 to 12; $15 for children 2-5. Seatings for children under 2 are complimentary.

A la carte lunch will also be served from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Santa Claus will also be making a special visit with treats for children of all ages. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 908-766-0002.

December 31
New Year’s Eve Dining and Overnight Getaway

Celebrate a dazzling New Year’s Eve at The Bernards Inn with a special three-course prix-fixe dinner on Monday, December 31. Chef Corey Heyer will present a spectacular holiday menu of innovative appetizers, entrees and desserts. Guests can also enjoy live piano music in the Library Bar. The dinner is $118 per guest. Reservations will be taken from 5:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. and guests are invited to ring in the New Year with party favors.

Turn New Year’s into a getaway with an overnight package that includes dinner, deluxe guest room accommodations, a bottle of champagne, long-stemmed roses, chocolate-covered strawberries and truffles, and continental in-room breakfast served on New Year’s Day. Reservations start at $606.00.

A la carte lunch will also be served on New Year’s Eve from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
