  Our spring Around-the-World Wine Tasting Event is coming on Friday, April 11.Wishing to participate but aren’t quite sure what to expect? vineyardsWinter is winding down but the chill of the season is still upon us. This brings to mind to drink a beautiful well-made glass of red Zinfandel that we are featuring and pouring by the glass. The wine is Green and Red Zinfandel, from a Napa Valley vineyard called “Chiles Mill Vineyard.”  The name is derived from the rich red iron soils veined with green serpentine which are located in the steep hillls on the east side of the Napa Valley. This site acquired its name from pioneer J.B. Chiles.

Cakebread Cellars, located in Napa Valley, is probably one of the most visited wineries for those traveling to California wine country. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

The entire line of Cakebread wines are popular, yet they are very limited in retail stores. That is why I am thrilled to present some Cakebread vintages at our upcoming Wine Dinner on February 20th.
