Winter is winding down but the chill of the season is still upon us. This brings to mind to drink a beautiful well-made glass of red Zinfandel that we are featuring and pouring by the glass. The wine is Green and Red Zinfandel, from a Napa Valley vineyard called “Chiles Mill Vineyard.” The name is derived from the rich red iron soils veined with green serpentine which are located in the steep hillls on the east side of the Napa Valley. This site acquired its name from pioneer J.B. Chiles.
