Unique Wine Opportunity Coming to The Bernards Inn on April 18th

Reverie Wine Dinner

Looking to experience great wine that is not available in any retail store? Hoping to add some cult following gems to your wine collection? Then join us on April 18th when we will be hosting a fabulous wine dinner with Reverie Winery. This will be a golden opportunity to purchase these hard-to-find wines.

Norman Kiken is the proprietor of Reverie (www.reveriewine.com) and is a native of New Jersey. He purchased the property on Diamond Mountain in 1993 which is located in the little town of Calistoga, CA. He named it “Reverie” meaning “dream” in French, as it was always his dream to own a vineyard. His 40-acre estate vineyard property borders two well known wineries you might be familiar with--Diamond Creek and Von Strasser. Reverie is one of the few remaining family-owned and operated wineries in Napa Valley.

Through the years, more than 100 of Norman’s wines have been rated OUTSTANDING by Robert Parker, Stephen Tanzer, Wine and Spirits, Wine Enthusiast and Connoisseurs Guide. Perhaps this comment says it best from Robert Parker: “Reverie may not be one of the best known wineries, but it is one of the finest.”

The Kikens will be here to pour and explain their wines to you. Each wine will be paired with five courses to include: Scallops and Bone Marrow, Baby Spinach Salad, our own Housemade Sweet Italian Lamb Sausage, Dry Aged Sirloin and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake.

The Grand Finale wine will be a special Reserve Cabernet. This event is only $95 plus tax and gratuity. With very limited seating available, you may call me directly at 908-766-7300 ext. 147 to secure a reservation, or phone the Inn at 908-766-0002 and reserve your seat with any of our restaurant managers.

Looking forward to seeing you! Check back for another wine opportunity event that is on the horizon.
