The air is changing. You can feel it. The summer winds are dying down...maybe we have a week or two left but the morning and evening chill in the air has returned. Summer draws to a close. There are a few short weeks between the end of August and mid September that I call the Perfect Weeks. I equate it to the best of San Diego weather, those of you that have been there know what I mean. The mornings are always glorious and the evenings are just a bit more special. You really want to be outside. You need to be outside. It always makes me a bit sad. I try to hold on to the feeling of the sun on my face, it feels so good. That “good feeling” I keep with me all year around because I know, this time will come around again. So, in the next couple of weeks, take an early morning stroll...the leaves are really starting to change...you can really see how much as the sun slowly comes up. Sit on your back porch, or our front terrace here at the inn and just enjoy the last days of summer, give yourself that gift. I promise, it lasts the whole year.
