Their meeting was destiny. Caesar Mistretta, Jr.  and Martha Rooney met at a Bernardsville Chamber of Commerce gathering. Caesar, the son of J.M. Stringer Gallery owner, Caesar Mistretta, Sr. and Martha, the daughter of Mastro Shoes owner Peter Rooney, began their romance shortly thereafter which led up to their engagement at The Bernards Inn and eventually their wedding day here on July 2, 2011.  Martha’s engagement and wedding rings were handcrafted by Mitchell-Peck fine jewelers of Bernardsville. In early September I began restyling the Fenwick Ballroom -- stop in and take a look at its new sophisticated atmosphere and organic touches. The room is designed to be versatile in atmosphere, therefore making it available for a variety of events, both professional and social.
